Gratitude always wins
If you’re here reading my first post! Hello!
First off, I just wanna say that today is a good day! I just recently started a new routine to get my shit together. I’m trying out time blocking in my schedule as I feel like I have so much to do in a day that a lot if my tasks get jumbled, unorganized, or completely dismissed giving me that overwhelming feeling of failure. It’s not fun; but I am human. I’m a stay at home momma —to be available for my girl whenever she needs me while my husband works. During my time, I also run a business from home as an beadwork artist & that in itself is a whole lot to do. So being on top of things is such an important part of what I do everyday. It takes discipline to sit down and plan and then execute your plans & I have tried so many ways; so I’m praying that the time blocking is the way for me.
Secondly; for this first entry; I want to start off simple.
Gratitude. Gratitude is the most powerful vibration a person can feel and express. Since I was a teen, I’ve always struggled with my own mental health & as I’ve grown older, I’ve found that gratitude has become a power tool in my healing journey. It’s helped me retrain my way of thinking and to become a more positive being; Here’s how I start: If you’re feeling down & not so good about yourself; STOP & think of three things in your life that you’re grateful for and your reason why? Even just thinking about it helps; expressing it is even better. Say the words out loud; if it’s a person, tell them. Or even write it down in your journal or your phone notes.
Today’s Gratitude:
I’m grateful for my home because it provides a safe place for me to be myself; provides shelter & warmth.
I’m grateful for my daughter; because she’s so sweet and kind. She reminds me of myself when I was a child.
I’m grateful that I went to bed early last night because I was able to get up feeling rested enough to go downstairs and get my workout in for the day while my daughter slept before she had to get up and get ready for school.
What are 3 things you’re grateful for? and Why?
You don’t have to tell me; but if you wish to share; there is a comment section below!
Thank you for reading my first post & I hope you have an awesome day today!
